To begin with, we have held quality certification since 1989
– and we are full members of SELECT, www.select.org.uk
which over 100 years ago became the world’s first trade
association to serve the electrical industry.
We’re also members of AMPS (The Association of Manufacturers
of Power Systems), www.amps.org.uk,
another widely regarded body.
But that’s not all. We are accredited by the Construction
Licensing Executive (CLE), www.clescotland.co.uk
which regulates construction trades in Scotland. Adding to
all this, we are members of the British Safety Council, www.britishsafetycouncil.co.uk
and have held full Investors in People accreditation since
2000.

ISO
Certification
ISO 9001:2000 is the extended and improved
version of ISO 9000. This new global standard is the best
way of telling if a company has a professional management
system in place.
It also coincides with the government’s latest initiatives
regarding contractor assurance in the construction industry.
The ISO certification lays down requirements for :
• clear evidence of continual improvement which must be demonstrated in
the company
• customer care and feedback procedures must be in place and audited including
customer satisfaction measurement
• verification of competence of employees
