Wilson is the largest generating set (genset) manufacturer
in Europe, and one of the largest in the world, with the capacity
to manufacture over 57,000 generating sets per annum. Thistle
Generators were FG Wilson’s first UK dealers, and have
been the largest supplier of their solution sets since 1997.
FG Wilson design and manufacture standard and customised gensets, with power
outputs covering 5.5 to over 2,200 kVA. This includes everything from small standby
sets suitable for domestic use, up to large units which are capable of feeding
back into national grid supplies.
FG Wilson is one of the largest employers and exporters in Northern Ireland,
with over 90% of their generating sets exported to over 170 countries worldwide.
The company lies comfortably within the UK's Top 100 Exporters, and has a worldwide
